This was the first gig I went to upon returning to University after the Christmas break in my first year. At this point I hadn’t got involved with the ENTs team so I was still paying for tickets! I’m guessing my girlfriend must have been down to visit and come to this gig with me as we went to see Black Sabbath in Leeds the following day! The second time I saw the Climax Blues Band as I had seen them at Reading in 1979. Not sure what happened to them after this but if I had to guess “they couldn’t get it right!”
Support act was The Bikinis – no idea and neither has Google!
