Summary

I have worked in the audio-visual industry for almost 30 years almost exclusively in client facing roles. I spent most of that time as a Project Manager delivering live events for a diverse range of corporate clients. Over the past few years I have moved into content production initially as a cameraman and editor but more recently producing event graphics using Keynote and PowerPoint. I still work direct with end clients to produce material for their events. I have excellent communication skills and I am able to lead or work as part of a team. I have a high level of technical skills and excel at time management and working to deadlines.

Employment Experience

.Presentation Designer & Operator, R&B Group   January 2015 to present

My role involves designing and building presentations for Award Ceremonies and Conferences using primarily Keynote as well as setting up and operating systems on site. Additionally I create animations using After Effects and edit and create using Adobe Illustrator as well as shooting videos and operating live camera on events

Cameraman & Editor, Eclipse Presentations   October 2009 to December 2014

My role involved shooting and editing videos both pre and post event. I worked with Final Cut Pro and create videos for use in a conference situation or for web/intranet use. I also created presentations using Keynote or PowerPoint.

Project Manager, Eclipse Presentations August 1988 to October 2009

I worked as a Project manager delivering live events for corporate clients with responsibilities including costing and budget management, technical specification, on site management and delivery. I then moved within the same company to a different role.

I started as a driver rigger moved onto being a technician before a spell on the Hire Desk and finally into Project Management. I left to form Eclipse Presentations.

Interests

Photography – I’ve always had a love of photography and I enjoy using both digital and old analogue cameras. When I lived in Kent I used to belong to a local arts group called Medway Eyes and contributed to a number of exhibitions.

Computing – I’m experienced on Windows, Mac and Linux and I once built my own webserver in my shed.

Music – As well as having a large record collection and regularly going to gigs I run my own small music festival every year in Kent.
